Book Formatter

We’re hiring a Book Formatter to join Astrik, located in Clifton Block 5.
Shift: Night Shift | 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
We’re looking for someone with experience in professional and premium-level book formatting for print and digital publishing, with a strong understanding of Amazon KDP standards and publishing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in book formatting/typesetting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to create polished, premium-quality layouts with strong typography, spacing, hierarchy, and consistency.
  • Experience formatting different genres, trim sizes, front/back matter, chapters, images, tables, headers/footers, and page numbering.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting specifications accurately.
  • Ability to prepare clean, print-ready and digital-ready files.
  • Knowledge of the following is a plus:
  • Adobe InDesign and other professional formatting tools.
  • Amazon KDP publishing.
  • Publishing across multiple digital platforms.
  • Print-on-demand requirements.
